MBJ/Joblynx have been a client of ours for almost 10 years.

Offering job-finding resources and services since 1996, MBJ have moved their business model away from labor intensive job-related services and more in the direction of providing valuable resources and information to job seekers.

We have developed a variety of web properties for MBJ/Joblynx over the years, always utilizing the latest state-of-the-art design concepts of the period. In September 2010, MBJ Principal John Hoover approached us to explore ways of promoting a new eBook, targeting job-seekers and those looking for general career enhancement. Our approach was first to implement a design platform which would allow MBJ to expand their website functionality to incorporate the latest marketing and promotion tools. In came Joomla, VirtueMart, Affiliate software, Aweber marketing/email software and a brand new eBook format for fast download.

In less than one week the MBJ static HTML website was transformed into a Joomla showcase for marketing techniques and user features.

Visitors to the website can start their browsing experience by viewing a high quality promotional video located prominently on the home page. VirtueMart handles the book ordering process and Paypal Web Payments Pro is the integrated Merchant Account solution. On a successful transaction the customer is directed to an automated download page where the book can be downloaded and viewed in standard PDF format. All links from the book to online information pass through a password protected online directory for secure storage of valuable resources and information.

An integrated Affiliate program allows people to offer the book and receive credit for sales in the form of an attractive commission, and the Affiliate program talks directly with VirtueMart, crediting sales only on approved orders.

Aweber manages the double-opt in list and is central to ongoing marketing and inquiry follow-ups, with a series of autoresponder messages which are timed-release to retain prospect interest.

Our turnaround time for this project was approximately one week. Ongoing will be development of online Community tools, SEO and article/content writing.
